Fireworks

fireworks safetyFourth of July is one of our nation’s most festive holidays, but it is also one of our most dangerous. Each year, nearly 13,000 people are blinded, maimed, or killed from fireworks. More than half are children. Do not allow children to ignite fireworks or stand near others who are doing so. All fireworks are potentially dangerous for children of any age. Nearly all communities offer some kind of public fireworks display and most are free. Leave the pyrotechnics to the professionals and save money, too.  Play it safe and make sure that you and your family enjoy your holiday celebrations for years to come.
